Jon Rahm Receives Warning, Not Penalty, For Club Throw at The Open Championship

R&A officials approached Rahm on the 17th tee to address the matter. Under the major championship player code of conduct policy, such actions can result in either a warning or a two-stroke penalty. Rahm's warning will remain on his record for the duration of The Open Championship, but he did not incur any additional strokes on his score.
