This marks the second occasion this year that Clark has entered a final round with a lead of at least five strokes. Earlier in the season, he held a six-shot lead at the U.S. Open, ultimately securing a one-shot victory for his second major title.

Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay are tied for second place. McIlroy finished his round with a 65, including three consecutive birdies late in the day and a par save from a bunker on the 18th. Gary Woodland, aiming to secure a return to the Tour Championship, posted a round of 70 with only two birdies. He sits six shots behind Clark, potentially too far back to contend for the lead. Woodland is currently priced at +4500 (Bovada) for the TOUR Championship.
